Preparing for Inspection...

We offer support in inspecting your provision and provide an impartial service that compares you with others. It is important that leaders, managers, staff and governors in special and mainstream schools understand how the emphasis of Ofsted inspections have changed:

• You have to be familiar with the latest criteria.
• You have to have the evidence ready.
• You have to be able to analyse and act on the evidence.
• You need to link the self-evaluation form to your school development plan.
• You need to to be "ever ready" for inspections.
• You need to respond to national strategies and initiatives.
• You need to be able to understand your responses to the "Every Child Matters" agenda.

The preparing for inspection services include:
