A Few Words About Maria Landy
Maria Landy had a proven record in informing, guiding and assisting special schools to improve the quality of education. The evidence for this is the very high number of good and outstanding schools she worked with over the years.
Maria was the first woman president of NASEN – The National Association for Special Educational Needs. She was a very experienced OfSTED inspector and trainer of inspectors. She wrote the book “Inspecting Special Educational Needs”.
Maria’s training company MTFL – More Time for Learning has a legacy of providing very high-quality school improvement training and advice. She promoted strong networks and ensured that Senior Leaders stay up to date.
She helped them to increase their skills in observing lessons, judging quality and feeding back to teachers, support staff and therapists. She encouraged schools to provide very high quality inclusive education and well organised evidence – striving for good to outstanding and beyond!
